Job Role
The Production Manager will lead the production operations of our manufacturing facility. They will oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring that production goals are met, quality standards are maintained, and operations run efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to optimize production processes for maximum efficiency.
* Track and analyse OEE data on the automated system.
* Utilising / maintaining the Mould shop Kanban system
* Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
* Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
* Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time shipping.
* Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
* Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus.
* Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
* Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage, and develop plant staff.
* Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime.
* Commit to plant safety procedures.
The successful candidate will have the following:
Proven work experience as a Production Manager or similar role.
Advanced skills in MS Office.
Organizational and leadership abilities.
Communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Problem-solving skills.
Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
Experience in reporting on key production metrics
