We are recruiting a dynamic and experienced Engineering Manager to oversee engineering operations at our client’s Northern Ireland site. In this hands-on role, you will drive innovation, efficiency and excellence across the team while managing capital investment, maintenance strategies and engineering activities, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership and guidance to the site management team.
* Develop and implement an engineering strategy to meet current and future operational demands.
* Lead and develop the engineering and maintenance team, fostering performance, coaching and professional growth.
* Oversee capital projects and maintenance programs, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
* Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets, ensuring financial efficiency.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental regulations, and internal standards.
* Manage third-party contractors and suppliers to meet agreed performance standards.
* Develop contingency plans to maintain business continuity in case of critical equipment or utility failures.
Qualifications & Experience
* Degree in engineering or related discipline, or HNC/HND with 5+ years’ experience in an engineering management role.
* Proven track record of managing budgets, projects and process improvements.
* Strong leadership, people management and team development skills.
* Experience managing suppliers and contractors effectively.
