Mechanical Fitter Full Time West Yorkshire Certain Advantage are working with an advanced engineering technology services business, due to continued work, they are actively seeking to recruit a Mechanical Fitter. Time served Mechanical Fitter who has experience across maintenance of Pressure Relief Valves and Control Valves. Provin abilities through firsthand repairing and testing of valves, as well as documenting and reporting whilst maintaining a safe working environment. The Role: Provide technical support to all valve workshop teams Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team Plan and coordinate any project or shutdown work as and when required 1Conduct site surveys and produce detailed reports of the equipment detailed above in accordance with the client and/or the companys requirements Ensure all workshop equipment and tooling are maintained regularly and all records kept up to date. Overhaul, test and recertification of all actuator types Troubleshooting and problem solving of all valve and actuator issues Provide core competence in use of valve flushing and sealant injection services Provide core competence in use of all torque and tensioning equipment Execution of risk assessments and hazard assessments. Qualifications & Training: SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in relevant technical discipline. Completed an engineering apprenticeship (preferred). Be fully competent working alone on all valve and actuator types.
