971DR Construction Logistics Coordinator Location: Hinkley Point C (any required HPC site location) Business Unit: HPC Delivery Directorate Logistics Reporting to: Construction Logistics Lead £33k PAYE to £46k Umbrella About the Role Our Client is delivering the UKs Nuclear New Build Programme, including Hinkley Point C, one of the most significant infrastructure projects in Europe. Once complete, HPC will provide low-carbon electricity to around six million homes and play a vital role in the UKs energy security. As a Construction Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring the right materials are delivered to the right place at the right time. You will coordinate the movement of materials across designated construction areas, working closely with construction teams, delivery coordination, logistics operations, and external partners to keep the project moving safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Coordinate end-to-end material distribution from the onsite distribution compound (IDPA) to construction areas Act as the main logistics point of contact for construction teams, delivery acceptance, security, and traffic management Ensure logistics activities align with construction schedules and site priorities Identify and resolve logistical issues, bottlenecks, or disruptions quickly and safely Monitor delivery performance, safety compliance, and traffic management effectiveness Drive continuous improvement in logistics processes and ways of working Provide regular updates to the Construction Logistics Lead on progress, risks, and opportunities What Were Looking For Experience in logistics, materials management, or supply chain within construction or infrastructure projects Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced site environment Good communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders Awareness of safety, quality, and regulatory requirements (experience in regulated environments such as nuclear, rail, or infrastructure is desirable) Comfortable working with data and systems (Excel; Power BI knowledge is a plus) Why Join Us Youll be part of a high-performing logistics team supporting one of the UKs most important energy projects, working in a safety-first, collaborative environment with real long-term impact.
