We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Pastry Chef to join a fast-paced hospitality kitchen delivering high-quality desserts, afternoon teas and baked goods within a busy restaurant environment.
Working as a Pastry Chef you will prepare and present a range of desserts and baked items while maintaining consistency, quality and efficiency during high-volume service. You will collaborate with the wider kitchen brigade to ensure smooth operations and exceptional food standards.

DUTIES
Your duties as the Pastry Chef include:
Prepare Desserts and Pastries: Produce high-quality desserts, cakes, pastries and baked goods in line with kitchen specifications
Deliver Afternoon Tea Service: Create and present items for afternoon tea ensuring excellent presentation and consistency
Follow Recipes and Specifications: Accurately follow recipe sheets and preparation guidelines
Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure all desserts meet the organisations quality and presentation standards
Support Kitchen Operations: Work closely with chefs and kitchen staff during busy service periods
Manage Preparation and Timing: Organise pastry preparation to ensure efficiency during high-volume service
Maintain Food Safety: Follow food hygiene and kitchen safety procedures at all times
Contribute To Team Environment: Support a positive, professional and collaborative kitchen culture
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience working as a Pastry Chef or in a pastry or bakery role within a commercial kitchen
Experience in high-volume hospitality or restaurant environments
Strong attention to detail and consistency in dessert presentation
Experience following recipes, preparation guides and kitchen specifications
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
A positive attitude with a collaborative, team-focused approach
