Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled, adaptable, organised and tenacious individual to support the leadership and management of the Urgent Care, Operations Directorate. The successful candidate will drive change in a fast‑paced and acute environment, supporting a proactive team of Patient Flow Navigators across ABUHB sites.
Main Duties

The post holder will be a key member of the Urgent Care Division, working closely with the Operational team to:
* Support the leadership, management and delivery of the standards of Patient Flow Navigators (PFN) to effect safe and timely discharge or transfer of patients.
* Manage a Band 4 team across all acute sites (GUH, RGH, NHH), providing business support to the deputy head of operations and head of operations.
* Support the wider directorate with service improvement, project support and business matters, working closely with senior managers.
* Operate as part of a 12‑month secondment to meet the needs of the service.
* Communicate effectively with Welsh and/or English speakers.
