We are seeking a Project Manager for high-end residential audio-visual installations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that client projects are completed to our exceptional standards, adhering to the specified timeframe and budget. Additionally, the Project Manager will be tasked with fostering and maintaining positive, long-term relationships with clients, design teams, and main contractors to ensure overall client satisfaction.
The role will be an evolving position responding to the requirements of the company. The main duties will include:
1. Responsible for the day-to-day running of the project, communicating with the Client, design team, contractors, and on-site team.
2. Client-facing during & at all times when needed to explain systems, suggest alternatives, or handover systems.
3. Working closely with engineers & third-party teams on site to ensure they have what they need and standards are maintained.
4. Rack Design following our guidelines, in collaboration with the Lead engineer.
5. Managing the production and updating of drawings with the Project support Team.
6. Procurement of equipment within timeframes and budgets, ensuring suitability of specified equipment.
7. Ensuring safety standards are met, including issuing RAMS for site safety.
8. Attending or holding meetings on-site or virtually, raising relevant issues professionally and promptly.
9. Ongoing design work if the design department is not involved.
10. Producing project programmes.
11. Managing project finances, invoicing, variations, and quotes, with support from the team as needed.
12. People management, ensuring a positive team environment.
13. Providing feedback to the design team on equipment and systems.
14. Handover to the client and maintenance team at project completion.
Experience Required:
* Good understanding of Audio Visual Systems and their connections.
* Experience managing high-end residential AV projects.
* Knowledge of AV & Lighting Control systems such as Crestron, Savant, Lutron.
* Experience with Cinema systems & Surround sound.
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
* Electrical knowledge.
* Hands-on field experience.
* Fault finding & problem-solving skills.
A Project Manager is a senior role responsible for timely project completion, maintaining good margins, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Out of Hours Support: To be on call as per the team weekend rota, providing frontline support and delegating to engineers as required.
