Yeovil College is offering an exciting and career-defining opportunity to contribute to our ground-breaking £60 million campus transformation as our Estates and Facilities Manager. In this key position you will drive forward a modern, efficient, and inspiring environment that supports the success of our students, staff, and community. You’ll take ownership of the college estate, champion innovation, and lead operational excellence across all aspects of facilities management in a role where your expertise will shape the future of our learning spaces.

As the Estates and Facilities Manager, you will be at the heart of campus operations—overseeing the maintenance, safety, and development of our buildings, grounds, and infrastructure. You’ll lead a dedicated team and manage a significant premises budget, ensuring the college provides an outstanding and sustainable learning environment. With your strong technical knowledge of estates, construction, and compliance, you will manage strategic projects, contractor relationships, and health and safety across the organisation. What we're looking for:

•Proven experience in successfully leading, engaging, and inspiring teams to deliver outstanding results.

•Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage both internal and external stakeholders

•Educated to degree level or equivalent industry qualification

•Holder of a NEBOSH National Certificate in Health and Safety

•Solution-focused mindset with the ability to manage changing deadlines and priorities

•Exceptional organisational skills combined with a methodical, systematic approach to solving complex problems efficiently.

•Annual Salary: £48,197 to £61,678

•Full time position, 37 hours per week, all year round
