Salary: Scale 3, starting salary £24,222.00 per annum - PRO-RATA [part-time]: £13,747.00 per annum
Hours: Part-time role - 21 hours per week

Job Purpose
The successful candidate will assist with providing an efficient and effective Reception service for staff, visitors, and contractors, and support the Supervisor with a range of business and administrative services.
Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
* Respond appropriately to telephone enquiries, redirect calls as necessary.
* Raise orders/job cards on the computerised fleet management system and book vehicles for repair with approved contractors.
* Undertake general administration tasks as needed.
* Arrange for the collection and departure of visitors.
* Arrange escorts for visitors where appropriate.
* Assist in the provision of site postal services, ensuring prompt and accurate mail distribution across the site.

Essential Qualifications
Educated to QCF Level including English and Mathematics OR equivalent work experience. RSA II (or equivalent) in Word Processing. Current UK driving licence for manual vehicles.*
*Role based at Fareham Workshops; travel across Hampshire Constabulary sites may be required. A full UK manual driving licence is necessary.
Experience in a busy office environment using manual and computerised administrative systems.
Desirable: Knowledge of police organisation and structure.
Experience working in a reception environment.
