Our Children's Assurance Partnerships and Evaluation (CAPE) Service is expanding, and we are excited to further build a dedicated and sustainable infrastructure. We need individuals with the skills, knowledge, and expertise to contribute to key functions such as strategic development, partnership working, corporate and community parenting, voice and engagement, governance and reporting, systems and processes, assurance, self-evaluation, project developments, statutory inspection, and regulatory compliance.
We currently have a couple of exciting opportunities within the CAPE Service:
Children's Assurance and Evaluation Co-ordinator (NJC 31)
1 FTE permanent (Education / SEND focus)
1 FTE maternity cover up to 12 months (Children's Social Care focus) Internal secondment opportunities will be considered
Who are we looking for?
In these roles, you will work collaboratively to support the effective delivery of the statutory roles and responsibilities of the Director of Children's Services. The permanent post will have a particular focus on Education and SEND, while the maternity cover will have more of a Children's Social Care focus.
The postholder(s) will be responsible for assurance and evaluation functions to support the development, implementation, and review of the assurance framework, including inspection and regulatory compliance, and associated partnership / governance arrangements.
