Job Summary
The post holder will have specialist theoretical and practical knowledge of managing clients with complex substance use problems.
The post holder will undertake the role of Key Worker for a caseload of clients dependent on substances with prescribing needs. This involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care under the supervision of the CDAT Manager, and liaising with statutory and non-statutory service providers, including primary health care teams.
Additionally, the post holder will take on a special interest role within the service, such as leading on BBV, alcohol, or pregnancy nurse roles, alongside their Key Worker duties. They will also provide support and supervision to junior team members and deputise for the CDAT Manager in their absence.
