We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Assistant Manager to join a thriving Bar & Bistro in East Lothian, located just a 20-minute drive from Edinburgh Waverley.

The Role:
This is a permanent, full-time position where you will play a key role in supporting the General Manager. You will be a hands-on leader, essential to the daily operations and dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the General Manager in leading the team and driving daily service.
Coaching and developing staff to maintain high performance.
Ensuring seamless operations throughout the venue.
Assisting with scheduling, financial reporting and inventory management.
Essential Requirements:
Proven experience in a high-quality, high-volume pub, bar, or restaurant.
A natural leader with excellent people-management skills and the ability to inspire a team.
Experience managing KPIs and labour budgets (preferred not essential).
Excellent knowledge of health, safety and licensing procedures.
Flexibility to work full-time hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
