We are seeking an experienced and proactive front of house manager to join our Catering Team, a vital part of delivering an exceptional guest experience. In this role, you will ensure dining room operations run efficiently while providing additional management support to the team. You will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of front-of-house operations during meal services, ensuring a smooth, well-presented, and efficient dining experience for guests.
2. Maintain exceptional cleanliness and hygiene standards across all dining and public areas.
3. Display strong knowledge of food, dietary, and allergen safety, ensuring compliance with legislation, industry best practices, and internal HACCP standards.
4. Liaise with Head Chefs and Catering Manager on dietary and allergen requirements, communicating relevant information accurately to guests.
5. Monitor service quality, address guest queries, and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
6. Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to minimize waste and ensure seamless service.
7. Provide hands-on support to the team during busy periods to meet service SLAs.
8. Contribute to continuous improvement by assessing and refining operational procedures in line with company standards.
9. Manage and coach front-of-house colleagues, providing on-the-job training, feedback, and performance management.
Requirements:
10. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a catering or hospitality environment.
11. Strong understanding of food safety, allergen management, and HACCP compliance.
12. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
13. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to guest feedback and operational challenges.
14. DBS cleared or be willing to get a DBS check
