Our client, a top distributor of Volvo construction machinery, is seeking a Preventative Maintenance Engineer to ensure their customers' equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.
The Role
As a field-based engineer, you’ll perform planned maintenance and servicing on a range of Volvo equipment, including wheeled loaders, excavators, and road machinery. Tasks vary from 500-hour excavator services to routine small digger check-ups.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience: In heavy plant, construction, agricultural, or HGV maintenance.
* Skills: Strong problem-solving, customer service, and communication abilities.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Plant Maintenance, Land-Based Engineering, or HGV preferred.
* Must-Haves: Relevant maintenance experience, full UK driving licence, safety knowledge, high attention to detail and right to work in the UK.
