Job summary The energy system of the future will require a very different approach to regulation than the one we know today. At Ofgem, were seeking a Senior Policy Lead to help shape how energy networks are regulated beyond 2031. Ofgem is Great Britains independent energy regulator. Job description Working across policy, analysis, legal and technical disciplines, youll help develop robust options for future regulatory approaches, engaging with senior stakeholders across Ofgem and the wider sector, and helping shape discussions on the future of energy network regulation. Youll bring experience of policy development relating to energy networks, price controls or the RIIO framework, alongside relevant policy skills in identifying, analysing and articulating complex problems, as well as developing appropriate solutions. Youll be comfortable managing the delivery of work from others, interpreting and communicating complex evidence, interdependencies and strategic fit of policies and managing and influencing stakeholders.
