Greenland Seeds are a highly successful and leading supplier of grass and wildflower seeds to commercial and residential customers throughout the UK. Through growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and hard working Sales Administrator Apprentice.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team. This role is integral to the smooth running of the sales department, ensuring efficient processing of sales orders, responding to customer enquiries, and liaising with hauliers to coordinate deliveries. The successful candidate will also be involved in preparing quotes using the mix calculator and handling some accounting tasks such as raising purchase orders and invoices.
Duties
* Processing sales orders accurately and efficiently
* Responding to incoming customer enquiries via phone and email
* Liaising with hauliers to coordinate deliveries and resolve logistics queries
* Following up on quotations to maximise sales opportunities
* Preparing quotes for custom seed mixes using the mix calculator
* Raising purchase orders (POs) and invoices
* Assisting with general administrative and accounting tasks
Requirements
* Confident IT user
* Comfortable using Microsoft packages
* Good timekeeping
* Able to be organised
* Good communication

Key Details:
* 40 hours per week (8.30am to 5pm) - Monday to Friday - Permanent
* 17 – 18 years of age – £8.16 per hour
* 18-20 years of age– £10.85 per hour
* 21 years of age or over £12.71 per hour
The successful applicant will complete and obtain a Level 3 Business Administrator Qualification through Learning Curve Group.

Weekly 1-2-1 Sessions with your tutor
weekly hours of Off the Job Training
The course is a 14-month programme
