Role Overview
We are currently seeking a People Business Partner to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to provide operational support to leaders, managers, and colleagues to deliver a “best in class” professional service across the business.
Main Responsibilities
1. Supporting the delivery and implementation of our people strategy and enhancing the quality of the People and Culture service
2. Establishing and developing relationships with people leaders and managers to understand strategies, plans, and key challenges
3. Coaching, advising, challenging, and influencing to ensure approaches align with Community Housing’s policies, procedures, best practices, and employment law
4. Delivering sound generalist HR operational advice
5. Supporting the implementation of change management processes
6. Contributing to a collaborative approach by working in partnership with senior managers and colleagues
Candidate Requirements
* Knowledge of employment law
* Chartered MCIPD / CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, along with a management qualification or training
* Excellent critical thinking and decision-making capabilities
* Experience delivering a customer-focused employee relations service at strategic and operational levels
* Ability to think and plan strategically, shape service improvements, and deliver to timelines
* Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation, regulations, and standards
* Experience analyzing people metrics and developing systems for quality information supporting business decisions
* Excellent team player
* Commercial awareness with a focus on continuous improvement
