Purpose of the role
At Camira, a leading innovator in sustainable textiles, were seeking a resilient and motivated Health and Safety Specialist for our Holmfirth site. You will play a key role in strengthening our commitment to a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace.
Reporting to the Head of Health, Safety, and Environment, youll help implement and improve HSE systems, navigate complex challenges, and uphold our zero-harm ethos. Your balanced, solutions-driven approach will support safe operations and reinforce Camiras reputation as a responsible industry leader.
The day to day
1. To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements
2. Improve the sites Health & Safety culture through visibility, engagement, consultation, and behavioural safety initiatives.
3. Create, review, and update risk assessments and Safe Systems of Work to reduce risks and impacts.
4. Develop and deliver in-house training and monthly HSE focus activities.
