Are you a sales professional in the engineering or construction products industry seeking an exciting opportunity to promote best-in-class products to your customers?
dormakaba is looking to recruit an experienced sales professional to support a client base in the East/Southeast of England.
A job that matters: Your Tasks
Our Territory Salespeople are key to driving our business forward. They act as brand ambassadors, proactively promoting our products to the industry, and support our distribution partners from the architectural ironmongery and construction industry. They work with partners to handle technical queries, advise on the best products for each application, and monitor their business needs to ensure supply as required. We seek individuals with a genuine interest in engineering, a desire to support our customers' businesses, and the ability to create business opportunities.
Your primary focus will be to sell our door hardware and door closer products to distribution partners across the territory. You will promote dormakaba as an organization, collaborate with other sales specialists, and seek opportunities for cross-selling within our product portfolio. The role involves managing existing clients, developing new ones, and introducing partners to new business opportunities outside our scope, providing a diverse range of activities.
As a Territory Salesperson, you should be comfortable achieving or exceeding sales targets, developing and growing your customer base, and monitoring commercial and operational performance via revenue and margin to ensure goals are met.
Experience that matters: Your Skills
Ideally, candidates will have 2-3 years of sales experience in the door hardware sector, selling door hardware, door closers, locking systems, or related products. However, motivated salespeople from other sectors may also be considered. You should demonstrate:
* Excellent ability to manage and prioritize your work independently
* A history of hitting and exceeding sales targets
* Good understanding of MS Office for administrative tasks
* GAI (Guild of Architectural Ironmongers) accreditation is highly desirable, with support available for candidates seeking to acquire it
