InsureSafeLine is a dynamic, independent insurance brokerage based in Birmingham, committed to delivering tailored, market-leading solutions for clients across the U.K. It is one of nine businesses which sit within YourSupportLine, a one-stop shop for financial services for SMEs. Founded in 2015, the business is embarking on an ambitious expansion plan over the next year and is seeking a new 'Head of Insurance', reporting directly to the business owner, to lead the business through this exciting period. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled leader, with relevant commercial insurance technical knowledge and experience, to drive forward the business and lead a team through an exciting expansion period.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of people, including providing direct line management to two senior account executives.
• Lead on the new business strategy to acquire a more diverse set of clients to grow the business.
• Build and manage rigorous relationships with clients, via. execution of a rigorous client engagement strategy.
• Develop and maintain relationships with a range of insurers.
• Engage with business heads across the parent group (YourSupportLine) to maximise client leads.
• Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree.
• years' experience in Insurance Broking, account management, or sales.
• Extensive knowledge of insurance products claims handling processes and FCA regulation.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with using the Acturis system.
• Insurance qualification (e.g. CII) advantageous.

Additional Information:
Please note that this position is fully office‑based. You will be required to work on‑site five days per week throughout the six‑month probationary period. Upon successful completion of probation, the organisation may consider discussing the potential for a hybrid working arrangement.
