Our Client is a well known Used Car specialist, they have been proving a high quality customer focused service for over 25 years, sourcing vehicles for sale. They are seeking a Workshop Controller for their expanding operations, and happy to consider personnel from Senior Service Advisor, Workshop Manager and other automotive backgrounds.

Duties of the Workshop Controller include:
10. Managing a team of workshop Technicians and support staff
11. Implementing workshop processes to optimise efficiency and productivity
12. Communicating effectively with the Service Reception and Sales departments regarding additional work
13. Assisting with job scheduling, considering job complexity and parts availability
14. Ensuring quality inspections and control measures are maintained
15. Keeping thorough and up-to-date technical knowledge to support diagnostic work as needed
Requirements for the Workshop Controller role:
16. Proven experience in Workshop control or Management within the automotive industry
17. Strong leadership and organisational skills
18. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
19. Excellent attention to detail and quality awareness
20. Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills
21. Full driving licence
22. Hands-on diagnostic experience, ideally with a background as a Master Technician or Supervisor
