Your new role
You’ll manage your own portfolio—predominantly established professional clients—with responsibility for year‑end accounts, personal and corporate taxpliance, and being that go‑to point of contact they rely on.It’s a genuinely varied role where you’ll prepare:
1. Sole trade and ltdpany accounts
2. Self‑assessment tax returns
3. Partnership and corporation tax returns
You’ll have autonomy, client ownership, and the space to run your portfolio in the way that suits you best. This is a client‑facing role, so you’ll be the trusted, professional, reassuring presence for the people you look after.
What you'll need to succeed
4. ACA / ACCA qualified, or QBE with strong relevant experience
5. 7–10 years’ practice experience
6. A solid grounding in general practice work
7. Confident managing a portfolio independently
8. Professional, personable, and able to build strong relationships
9. Experience with CCH, Sage or Xero helpful (but not essential)
You’ll also need to live within a sensiblemute of the office.
