Your new role As Management Accountant, you will be supporting the Head of School Finance with the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, financial planning and reporting. You will also have a small team of two to manage. Please note, due to the urgency of this role, only candidates on a one-month notice period or less will be considered. What you'll need to succeed You will be a qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACA / CIPFA / ACCA level), although exceptional finalists and candidates who are actively pursuing their accountancy qualification will be considered, if they have the relevant experience. You will have a background in large, complex organisations (shared services) as a management accountant or finance business partner, with experience in management accounts preparation and strong analytical and financial reporting skills. Advanced Excel skills are essential and experience of line managing or developing a small team would be desirable. You will be a confident and effective communicator with colleagues at all levels (including non-finance) and able to work collaboratively whilst managing your workload in an effective and timely manner. Candidates with a mix of both public and private sector experience will be suited to this role.
