As a Vice President in the Cash Operations Transformation team, your role provides a unique opportunity to work in Payments, the fastest changing areas in the Financial Services industry, shaping how to operationally support new products while partnering with the business to ensure the successful execution of the Payments franchise’s strategy and enabling the delivery of products in a stable and scalable way.
Job responsibilities
1. Coordinate with the Product Delivery Manager to drive end-to-end delivery—standardize impact assessments, identify and escalate blockers, and ensure resource alignment.
2. Lead design-to-delivery and change-management of new services and enhancements, enforcing the firm’s risk, control, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
3. Maintain visibility into business initiatives and client mandates to manage the Payments Operations change pipeline.
4. Define and implement optimized operating models by mapping current processes, systems, and organizational structures, and pinpointing opportunities to improve customer experience, scalability, and resiliency.
5. Develop strategic hypotheses and business cases, securing stakeholder buy-in for recommendations.
6. Drive process and tool enhancements through proactive reengineering, increasing efficiency and resilience.
7. Provide regular status updates to senior management and business stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
8. Proven experience in product management or a related domain, with a track record of delivering results
9. Hands-on expertise in operational management, change readiness, and product deployment
10. Demonstrated ability to partner with business stakeholders to design and implement process improvements using core technology and digital tools
11. Strong collaborator with excellent interpersonal skills—able to influence peers and executives across functions
12. Clear, confident communicator at all organizational levels
13. Logical, structured problem-solver with disciplined planning and decision-making
14. Solid understanding of controls, risk management, and compliance protocols
15. Self-starter who independently manages workload and delivers on commitments
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
16. Developed knowledge of the product development life cycle
17. Operations experience dealing with large scale operations and transformation agendas
18. Expertise in data analysis and manipulation to support hypothesis generation
19. Proficiency in Excel and ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint is essential
