We're recruiting for an experienced Lead HGV Technician to join a busy workshop operation in Belfast.
This is a senior hands-on role, ideal for an experienced commercial vehicle technician looking to step into more responsibility while remaining technically involved. You'll support workshop leadership, help drive team performance, and ensure all vehicles are maintained to legal and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of HGVs
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
* Maintain tail lifts and associated systems
* Ensure vehicles meet legal compliance and operator licence standards
* Complete maintenance paperwork accurately and on time
* Support workshop scheduling and stock management
* Assist with training and mentoring technicians/apprentices
* Help improve workshop efficiency and minimise downtime
* Promote strong health & safety standards
Requirements:
* Level 3 / 4 qualification in HGV/LGV Maintenance & Repair
* Strong commercial vehicle diagnostics experience
* Knowledge of electrical systems
* Experience working on HGV fleets

* Supervisory experience desirable
* C+E licence advantageous
