Role: Fleet Services Supply Chain Manager
Contract Length: 6 months
Location: Sidcup
IR35: Inside
Pay Rate to Intermediary: £550 per day
Spinwell is recruiting for a Fleet Services Supply Chain Manager for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE FLEET SERVICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
* Lead on procurement and contract management activities for Fleet Services
* Support the Head of Fleet in strategic and operational delivery
* Manage and allocate contracts across the team
* Monitor and reprocure contracts as needed
* Analyse financial data, spend, and performance metrics
* Draft specifications and procurement documentation (note: tendering will be handled by a separate team)
* Implement new contracts and ensure smooth transitions
* Provide training and support to peers and direct reports
* Drive continuous improvement and proactive contract management
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE OF THE FLEET SERVICES SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER
* Strong experience in procurement and contract management, ideally end-to-end
* Experience managing public sector contracts, i.e. indirect and fleet-related services
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Strong analytical skills - able to interpret financial and performance data
* Good written skills - able to draft clear and effective specifications
* Experience in learning and development of team members
* Proactive, uses own initiative, and able to work independently
