Job Description
The Major Account Manager partners with our customers to secure their entire digital experience. You’re motivated by the desire to solve critical challenges facing our customer’s secure environment, so you’re prepared to connect them with a solution for every stage of threat prevention. This role is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. As an experienced and dynamic sales professional, you’re responsible for leading and driving sales engagements.

Your Impact
* Drive and orchestrate large complex sales cycles, working with internal partners and teams to serve the customer effectively.
* Utilize consultative selling experience to identify business challenges and develop solutions for prospects and customers.
* Understand the competitive landscape and customer needs to position Palo Alto Networks solutions effectively.
* Create clear goals and develop accurate forecasts through detailed territory planning.
* Leverage customer stories to craft compelling value propositions.
* Stay informed on industry news and trends affecting our products and services.
* Travel within your territory and to company-wide meetings as necessary.
Qualifications
Your Experience
* Experience with SaaS-based architectures, ideally in networking and/or security, with a preference for SASE technology.
* Experience engaging with C-Level executives preferred.
* Experience working in the Higher Education sector.
* Proven ability to sell complex solutions using value selling and consultative techniques.
* Technical aptitude to understand how solutions address business problems.
* Ability to analyze problems, review data, identify root causes, and provide scalable solutions.
* Ability to cultivate relationships with channel partners for a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
* Deep knowledge of the full sales cycle and structured sales process.
* Holistic problem-solving skills considering complex interrelationships and outcomes.
* Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously.
