I'm recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm for a Paralegal / Team Assistant to join their Private Client team in Cambridge.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Paralegal with experience in Private Client work who is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive and professional environment.
Key responsibilities
* Support the team with a range of client matters
* Manage your own caseload of client work
* Meet and greet clients and handle telephone enquiries
* Take new enquiries from prospective clients
* Manage financial and administrative aspects of client matters
* Keep fee-earners updated on task progress
* Manage diaries and inboxes
* Coordinate electronic documents with external parties
* Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation
* Participate in networking and business development initiatives
Candidate requirements
Experience
* Previous experience in a Private Client department
* Good understanding of the Solicitors Accounts Rules
* Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office

* Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
* Strong organisational and time-management abilities
* Proactive, self-motivated and personable
* Able to remain calm under pressure
