Overview
We have permanent and fixed‑term opportunities for experienced physiotherapists to rotate on a 7‑month rotational scheme across adult critical care specialities at Cambridge University Hospitals (CUH).
Responsibilities
* Provide physiotherapy services to patients in John Farnham ICU (Wards D3/D4)
* Deliver care in Surgical Wards
* Assist in Neuro Critical Care Unit (NCCU) and Neuro Wards
* Support patients in N3 Respiratory and K3 Cardiology Wards
* Manage N3 Acute NIV service and outpatient respiratory physiotherapy
* Participate in emergency out‑of‑hour, weekend and on‑call services
* Rotate through the above clinical areas for 7 months each; paediatrics rotation negotiable if desired
* Engage in potential clinic and exercise rehabilitation groups across rotations
Qualifications and Requirements
* Band 6 physiotherapist with experience and motivation to specialise further
* Ability to work across multiple adult critical care settings
* Willingness to undertake emergency and on‑call duties
* Eligible for full‑time employment under home‑office immigration rules – see visa criteria below
Visa Information
Due to Home Office immigration rules, a full‑time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa. Therefore, please be advised that if you are a Student visa holder, we will not be able to offer you a full‑time permanent contract unless you have:
* applied for a Graduate visa
* completed your course and applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date
* the Trust has agreed to sponsor you as a Skilled Worker and you will complete your studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date
