This role requires a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar safety-focused position, ideally within the infrastructure or water utilities sector. You will play a key role in ensuring safe work practices on site, partnering closely with project teams to uphold high standards of compliance, risk management and site safety culture. The Upper South Creek Network will feature new wastewater pumping stations and gravity carriers, with the first work stage beginning before the year's end. The project also emphasises safety, digital engineering, and compliance with the latest standards, ensuring it meets future needs effectively. Mentor and support site personnel to improve health, safety and overall site performance. Assist Project Managers with implementing and maintaining safety systems, plans and procedures. Conduct site inspections and audits, providing clear feedback and safety improvement recommendations. Lead or support incident investigations and advise on corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Promote a transparent, proactive safety culture while staying current with legislation, standards and industry best practice.
