Providing DevSecOps at scale, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, cyber and geospatial intelligence capabilities to support the defence, intelligence and cyber sectors. About the role:
Work as a Software Engineer at any level within a team, delivering and deploying software to our many business areas.
This opportunity will be an office-based role at one of our sites in the Gloucester or Manchester area, with potential opportunity for an element of hybrid working.
Skills and Experience
1. Experience of working in an Agile delivery team
2. Java development using Spring Boot
3. JavaScript frameworks - React, Angular, Vue etc.
4. Cloud services (AWS or Azure)
5. Experience building enterprise level web applications or services
6. Docker / Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration
7. Unit and automation testing
8. Familiarity with Data visualisation techniques and tools
9. Familiarity with structured and unstructured storage of Data
10. Use of Code repositories, familiarity with branching strategies, pull requests and merge processes.
11. MongoDB
12. Apache Kafka
13. Infrastructure as Code (e.g Terraform, Ansible)

14. Design and build software using industry best practice
15. Collaborate with stakeholders and other engineers
16. Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with your project
17. Contribute to continuous improvement within your team
