Your new role As Company Accountant reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will: Prepare, maintain and analyse financial statements in line with UK GAAP, IFRS and internal standards Coordinate month-end and year-end close, manage balance-sheet reconciliations and drive timely audit preparation Oversee tax filings (VAT, corporation tax, etc.) and intercompany reconciliations Lead cash-flow forecasting, budgeting and working-capital monitoring Supervise AP/AR teams to ensure smooth operations Manage payroll processing, ensuring compliance with labour and tax regulations Champion process improvements and support ERP or system implementations Contribute to ad-hoc finance projects, including due diligence and integrations What you'll need to succeed CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification (degree or equivalent) Minimum of 2 years' post-qualified experience Exceptional organisation, communication and analytical skills Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills; SAP experience advantageous Proven people-management and influencing abilities Self-starter mindset with a collaborative team ethic What you'll get in return Belfast-based role with flexible working options and limited UK & ROI travel Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Exposure to multi-entity financial reporting and external audit processes Opportunities for professional development and career progression A culture that empowers you to take ownership, innovate and drive efficiency What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
