Midlands Based | National Travel Required
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Surveyor / Manager to join a leading leisure operator with a diverse UK-wide estate, ranging from 5,000 to 50,000 sq. ft. sites. This company is renowned for its commitment to maintaining high standards across its properties, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and customers. The Maintenance Surveyor / Manager will play a pivotal role in guiding the business through property maintenance and compliance, making this a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious professional.
The Maintenance Surveyor / Manager will oversee the coordination and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance services across the UK estate. The role requires a proactive individual capable of managing multiple contractors and ensuring all sites meet high standards.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the coordination and delivery of maintenance services across the UK estate.
* Manage maintenance contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
* Conduct checks on completed works for compliance.
* Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure quality standards.
* Forecast and manage budgets, reporting on performance monthly.
Skills and Attributes:
* Degree / HNC or equivalent in Building Surveying / Construction, with a professional qualification (RICS / CIOB or similar).
* Knowledge of building construction, mechanical, and electrical installations.
* Experience in maintenance roles within leisure, hospitality, or retail sectors.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure.
