What the Job Involves As an Allocations & Lettings Officer within the Housing Supply Team, you will be responsible for allocating accommodation in accordance with statutory and local policies. This includes matching medical and other specific requirements of vulnerable applicants with available housing options, verifying shortlisted candidates, and providing comprehensive advice on housing services. Your role will involve advertising void properties, conducting interviews, arranging viewings, and managing the letting process for both permanent and temporary housing solutions. You are expected to maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to deliver a customer-focused service aiming to prevent homelessness.
