You will be a self-motivated, pro-active individual with a positive attitude and good communication skills. You will be able to flexibly manage your workload and provide a full service as a dual role in both the Payroll Liaison and Accountancy Services teams. Careful use of Trust systems both manual and electronic, to ensure accuracy of data. Store and share information in accordance with department protocols, Trust Information Governance Policy and Data Protection Legislation. To act as a point of liaison between Financial Services and SBS and improving the accuracy of the General Ledger (GL). Support the resolution of pay related queries, prepare the relevant interface files for staff expenses, validate weekly/monthly deduction and payment files and reconcile pay related control accounts To support the process of resolving any pay or staff expense related queries and improving the accuracy of the information that generates a payroll transaction. To create interface files to be shared with the Sussex Health and Care Payroll Hub to facilitate payment of staff expenses and the weekly / monthly payroll. To lead on the process of reconciling any pay of staff expense related control accounts, investigating and resolving any queries and ensuring accuracy in any balance being held.
