The successful candidate will deliver engaging Drama lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5, fostering creativity, confidence, and a love of the performing arts. You will also contribute to school productions, extra-curricular activities, and the wider life of the school. Key Responsibilities: * Plan and deliver high-quality Drama lessons across KS3–KS5. * Inspire and motivate students, catering to a range of abilities. * Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing constructive feedback. * Encourage participation in school productions and extra-curricular activities. * Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour. * Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development and interdisciplinary learning. * Contribute to departmental planning, events, and professional development initiatives. Person Specification: * Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. * Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school, ideally across multiple key stages. * Strong subject knowledge and a passion for performing arts. * Excellent classroom management and communication skills. * Ability to inspire and engage students, fostering personal and social development. * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student well-being
