We are recruiting for a Learning Delivery Senior Manager to be part of the Government Digital and Data Workforce and Capability Directorate, where you will join our Government Digital and Data Profession learning team.

We are a collaborative and growing team of capability, digital and data professionals responsible for setting strategy and delivering for the 23,000+ digital makers, future talent, and the wider civil service. We are committed to building and continuously developing a culture that is inclusive, always learning, enthusiastic, supportive, and ultimately a place where our people can perform and develop to their very best.
You will oversee our learning delivery offer, ensuring a positive user experience. You will lead on the delivery of monthly Spotlight Webinars, maintenance of existing online courses and the delivery of new courses produced by the Learning Design team.
You'll support the Learning Delivery Lead to shape and design the user experience when engaging with our learning products and services by embracing an agile culture of evaluation and iteration. You will lead on the evaluation of learning, to provide data insights to enable improvements. You will ensure that all courses support acceleration toward greater diversity and inclusion in our cross government teams and that this is evidenced.
You will own and maintain our engagement work with other government departments and public sector stakeholders, working alongside our communications team to promote the Government Digital and Data
brand and the Learning Team offer.
You will identify opportunities to work with departments to help them access our learning products and services, and to promote them within their departments to avoid duplication. You will also coordinate with the wider Workforce and Capability Team to identify areas for joined up work and collaboration.

Key responsibilities:
As the Learning Delivery Senior Manager you will:
Oversee course delivery ensuring a positive user experience
Design & collaborate with team on learner journeys and engagement campaigns for new talent (Grads, Apprentices and for those wishing to reskill into the Government Digital and Data profession)
Communicate and partner with Stakeholders to support the full capability learning offer
Lead on advertising our learning products to maximise awareness of the learning offer
Identify (with engagement leads) and oversee launch opportunities for Government Digital and Data learning products such as programmes like Get Tech Certified
Coordinate evaluation of all courses and use feedback to inform next steps
Ensure that all courses support acceleration toward greater diversity and inclusion in our cross government teams
Work closely with the GDS Comms and Engagement team to market the learning offer
Travel across the UK (In particular Manchester, London and Bristol) will be required on an occasional basis, possibly with overnight stays.
As a line manager, you will be responsible for working with your members of staff to define their objectives, as well as managing their development and performance.
Essential Criteria:
Proven experience of using processes and tools to support learning delivery (Lead)
Experience in working with a range of stakeholders to deliver learning programmes, demonstrating effective problem solving skills
Experience in using evaluation data to identify trends, make informed decisions and process improvements to improve the user experience and journey.
High attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload and manage expectations.
Effective communication skills, establishing and fostering relationships with stakeholders at all levels of seniority (Internally and externally).
