Rate of pay: TBC depending on experience
Hours: Full time preferable (Monday - Friday) hours to be discussed/agreed at interview. Must be able to start at 08.00am and flexible. We may also consider a job share for the right candidates.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Links Medical Practice for an Operations Manager. This role is a permanent position. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Practice. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, excellent communication skills, and have proven experience in leading teams.
Experience within General Practice or a healthcare setting is highly desirable, as this role involves supporting and coordinating clinical and administrative staff to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
To support the Practice Manager in all aspects of practice functionality, including staff motivation and management, patient services, premises and health & safety management. The post-holder will contribute to optimising efficiency and performance, ensuring the practice achieves its strategic objectives while maintaining a safe, compliant, and effective working environment.

Main duties of the job
Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Supervision and Team Support
Day-to-day supervision of administrative and support staff
Provide leadership, support, and guidance to team members
Assist with managing staff rotas, absence, and performance issues

2. HR & Recruitment
o Support the recruitment process
o Assist with induction and onboarding of new staff
o Maintain accurate HR records in line with requirements
o Support training and development planning for team members
3. Health & Safety and Risk Management
o Assist in the implementation of health and safety policies
o Carry out risk assessments and ensure appropriate action is taken
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices
4. Policies and Procedures
o Ensure practice policies and procedures are up-to-date and followed
o Assist with communicating updates and training staff on relevant changes
5. Practice Maintenance
o Oversee the maintenance and safety of the premises
o Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely repairs and servicing
o Monitor equipment functionality
6. Information Governance & Compliance
o Ensure compliance with data protection and information governance standards
o Support the management of confidential data in line with regulatory requirements
o Contribute to CQC readiness and other regulatory inspections
7. Support to the Practice Manager
o Provide operational support as directed
About us
The Practice is managed by 5 GP Partners and a Practice Manager.
Additionalteam members are a further 3 Salaried GPs, Physicians Associates and 5 members of thenursing team. There are approximately 15 administrative and reception teammembers. We also actively collaborate with 2 other practices as a Primary Care Network team.

Job responsibilities
As Operations Manager, youwill be responsible for supporting the day-to-day management of the practicesites. You will haveexcellent communication skills and the ability to manage a varied and busyworkload. You will ensure allpractice staff are compliant with agreed procedures, protocols and time-scales,reporting to the Practice Manager as necessary. The candidate must be conscientious, providesolid supervisory support and have a knowledge of HR.Leadthe management of the Patient Participation Group.
