The annual salary is £33,640.75, comprising a base of £31,441.75 plus an estimated £2,200 in gratuities, offering a rewarding compensation package.
Our flagship restaurant, the Ryder Grill, holds 2 AA rosettes and serves 700 meals daily, including buffet service for hotel guests and conference delegates. We also feature four other outlets: Sam's Clubhouse, Rocca's, The Brabazon Bar, and the Pastry Kitchen. Our Banqueting team ensures seamless event experiences. About the role
As a Chef de Partie in the banqueting kitchen, your day will focus on preparing menu items for conferences and events, based on hotel occupancy. You will also prepare food in advance for the upcoming week and may take ownership of the kitchen in the absence of the management team.
You will be responsible for:
* Cooking and delivering beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced locally
* Understanding allergens and dietary safety
* Logging temperatures for hot items and refrigerators to ensure compliance
* Running a section during busy service and supporting your team for fast, accurate delivery
* Cleaning your section and other kitchen areas to maintain standards
About you
The ideal candidate will have experience in a fine dining kitchen and excellent communication and presentation skills.
You will also be:
* Passionate about food and seasonal ingredients
* Detail-oriented with high standards
* Experienced in managing your section, portion control, and logging wastage for accurate GP%
* Able to build strong team relationships
* Proficient in COSHH and HACCP understanding
