We are looking for a L3 Qualified Childcare Nursery Manager to join our vibrant and friendly Day Nursery.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:
1. Hold a relevant Level 3 childcare qualification
2. Have 3 years of childcare experience
3. Have 3 years of experience working in a nursery setting
4. Have 2 years of managerial experience within a nursery setting
5. Be enthusiastic, fun, creative, and a good role model
6. Have a real passion, motivation, and drive for working with and educating children
7. Have a good understanding of the EYFS and Safeguarding policies/procedures
8. Be committed to self-development and motivated to keep knowledge and skills updated
9. Believe in promoting and building strong parent partnerships to provide cohesive learning for children
The Role Includes:
1. Maintaining the highest standards when providing care, implementing safeguarding practices, and following nursery policies/procedures
2. Promoting, implementing, and applying EYFS/SEND standards in your work
3. Upholding health, safety, security, and wellbeing of children, staff, and visitors (alongside management)
4. Participating in the key persons system, responsible for a group of children, including monitoring, assessment, and recording their development and progress
5. Meeting children’s emotional and social needs through positive behaviour management techniques
6. Ensuring a smooth settling-in and transition period for children as required
7. Promoting good personal and food hygiene while encouraging independence
8. Demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, high-quality practice, flexibility, and promoting equality and diversity
9. Planning activities appropriate to each child's/group’s abilities, interests, language, and cultural background to support development through learning and play
10. Attending meetings, training (mandatory and optional), appraisals, and supervision sessions
11. Escalating practice or family concerns promptly, ensuring effective communication with parents/carers and colleagues
12. Collaborating effectively with management, colleagues, and other professionals, including family support workers, speech therapists, and SENCOs
