About the Role
Simon Gibson Transport Ltd is recruiting for a HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our team on a Monday to Friday tramping position based out of our Middlewich depot.
You'll be part of a leading bulk powder transport company, operating nationally through multiple depots. We're proud to serve our customers safely and efficiently with our fleet of bulk powder tankers.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out daily vehicle checks before every shift
* Load, transport, and deliver products safely and efficiently
* Complete all required paperwork and PODs accurately
* Communicate with Planners regarding schedules and delays
* Ensure compliance with all road transport and tachograph regulations
Pay & Benefits
* Gross Average - £1084 P/W Net Average - £848 P/W (Below included)
* £25 per night out (tax-free)
* £5 daily meal allowance (tax-free)
* £9 delivery bonus
* Company pension
* Training provided – bulk tanker experience preferred, but not essential
* Weekly Pay
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
* Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (required)
* Good communication skills and a professional attitude
* Willingness to work away from home Monday to Friday

* Tramping position (nights out required)
* Weekend Overtime Available
