About the Role
As our Specification Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and nurturing relationships with Consultants while uncovering exciting new business opportunities. Your mission? To promote Carrier solutions by offering top-notch product, design, and technical support, ensuring compliance with industry standards. You will focus on:
* Achieving sales targets and maintaining regular customer contact.
* Securing orders and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Gathering valuable market and competitor intelligence.
Your Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Manage and develop relationships with nominated and geographical mechanical consultants.
* Identify and target new customers, including M&E Consultants, Architects, and Developers.
* Provide product and project design support to clients.
* Guide customers on the correct use and application of our products.
* Share industry knowledge and legislative guidance to ensure future compliance.
* Prepare weekly/monthly reports on customer progress and new business opportunities.
* Ensure regular communication with customers to meet their needs.
* Collect and report on industry insights and competitor analysis.
What We Are Looking For
We seek a passionate individual who has:
* Experience in building strong relationships with Consultants, M&E contractors, Architects, and AC contractors.
* Technical knowledge of VRF and split systems or chillers.
* A sales background in HVAC or a related field (experience with VRFs, chillers, or DX is a plus).
* Competitor knowledge and insights.
* A valid UK Driving Licence.
* Proficiency in MS Office and strong IT skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well in a team.
