Your new role
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Finance to join their leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, providing strategic financial guidance, and ensuring the financial health of the company. They will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lead the finance team.
The role will involve:
* Production of monthly management accounts
* Preparation of annual financial statements
* Monthly intrastat submissions to HMRC
* Preparing the annual audit file
* Preparing and delivering the annual budget, and updating the monthly forecasts for the group
* Cashflow forecasting and control
* Designing and controlling the internal financial controls of the business
* Day to day management of the finance team
* Ensuring accuracy of the financial reporting prepared by the finance team
* Maintaining strong communication processes to ensure smooth and efficient flow of accurate information
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate would be a qualified accountant, and they will have worked in a fast-paced manufacturing company. They will be happy working to tight deadlines and leading an experienced and efficient finance team.
What you'll get in return
The job comes with hybrid working, a salary of £60,000 - £75,000 per annum, an annual bonus, 25 days holiday + statutory days, a pension scheme and free parking.
