Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth across our B2B services. You will identify and win new business, build long-term client relationships, and collaborate closely with operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Freight forwarding experience is an advantage, but strong B2B sales experience in professional or service-led environments is the priority.
Key Responsibilities
* Source and develop new business opportunities across target sectors.
* Manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation to contract close.
* Build strong, trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and clients.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
* Develop tailored value propositions and proposals aligned with client needs.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline reports and forecasts.
* Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
* Support the creation of marketing and sales collateral for business development campaigns.
About You
* Proven track record in B2B sales or business development (logistics, transport, supply chain or related services preferred).
* Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Confident engaging C-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
* Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
* Freight forwarding or logistics knowledge advantageous but not essential.
* Comfortable with data analysis, forecasting, and market insights.
* UK-based with the ability to travel to clients and events as needed.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
