Overview
Divisional Scheduler – permanent role on a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Bridgwater. Salary £28,257 to £33,427. Location: Bridgwater. Working hours: 40 per week with potential flexibility; core hours 7am–5pm; out-of-hours cover and overtime opportunities may be available. This role is within the scheduling team and sits in the Wessex Water division of YTL UK.
Responsibilities
* Provide scheduling for operational teams across multiple workstreams.
* Maximise the efficient use of staff time by creating schedules that reduce mileage and fuel expenditure.
* Liaise with operational staff across multiple disciplines to reduce overdue work; raise work requests, prioritise tasks, and schedule planned maintenance.
* Provide regular updates to customers to ensure performance commitments are met.
* Engage with multiple IT systems, including Microsoft applications (Outlook, Excel, Dynamics 365 and Teams) and internal software.
* Manage workload in line with service level agreements and maintain attention to detail under procedures.
What you’ll need
* Team player with multitasking skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to follow procedures and work to strict service level agreements; strong attention to detail.
* Understanding of our operational business is advantageous; if not, a proactive approach and training will be provided to adapt your skills to the role.
