We are seeking a highly capable Network Support Technician to join the ICT Services Team at a large secondary school in Somerset. This full-time, permanent role is ideal for a technically confident individual who enjoys problem-solving and managing complex IT systems.

Role Responsibilities
• Maintaining and monitoring the school's network, servers and switches
• Troubleshooting connectivity and performance issues
• Managing user accounts, security permissions and backups
• Overseeing cybersecurity protocols and compliance
• Supporting classroom technology, AV systems and school events
• Assisting with long-term ICT planning and infrastructure upgrades
Experience and Qualifications
• Experience in network administration or advanced IT support
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and networking hardware
• Excellent diagnostic and communication skills
• Relevant IT/networking certifications desirable
Salary
Paid on support staff scale depending on experience.
