An exciting opportunity to work within a brand-new Build To Rent (BTR) development in Leeds. Our client is seeking an experienced and professional Maintenance Technician to ensure all maintenance issues raised by residents are responded to and closed out in a timely manner. As a Maintenance Technician you'll be responsible for delivering an efficient and high-quality maintenance service that meets residents’ needs while providing the excellent customer service our client prides itself on. This is a customer-facing onsite role, completing planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance activities in line with the brand’s vision and values. Your Responsibilities: Carry out day-to-day reactive and preventative maintenance of the building Work with the Facilities Manager to ensure compliance with current Fire and Health & Safety regulations Share responsibility for regular Health & Safety checks, including fire alarms and emergency lighting checks Undertake regular building patrols of common areas and apartments to identify maintenance requirements or Health & Safety concerns Proactively find ways to help residents maintain and take care of their apartments, giving guidance and assistance where required Log and monitor all maintenance issues using the relevant property management software Your Requirements: Experience within Residential Property, Build to Rent, Student Accommodation, Serviced Accommodation, Serviced Offices, or Hotels Experience in domestic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, building, or general maintenance Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills A positive, proactive ‘can-do’ attitude Able to work independently and as part of a team If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for maintenance and delivering high standards, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity to contribute to a brand-new BTR scheme in Leeds.
