Purpose of the Role
To sell the Collins portfolio to existing and new customers through telesales activity in designated sector/territories.
Hours of work:5 days per week, 37.5 hours per week (term time only)
Key Responsibilities
Be responsible for contacting UK education establishments to generate leads, opportunities and sales across the Collins Portfolio to achieve sales and financial targets.
To develop and maintain a good knowledge and understanding of curriculum requirements and the Collins Portfolio.
To be responsible for a sales territory, pipeline generation/management, maintenance of accounts, and related administration.
Ensure the calls are to the agreed customer profile in regards to Collins products and specific marketing campaigns.
Be responsible for gathering and recording the required customer data and accurately using the CRM system to record and update all information required.
To attend regional/national training days and conferences when necessary
Experience Required
Experience of telesales
Experience of working to targets and deadlines
Knowledge, experience and understanding of the UK education system
Ability to assimilate and communicate a broad portfolio of products
Skills Required
Confident in using telephone and have an open and engaging manner
Self-motivated, organised and capable of operating to a specific brief.
Quickly adapt and adjust to changes in focus/campaigns as the business needs require
Strong planning and organising, prioritising skills
Computer literate (good understanding of MS applications)
Numerate and literate
