Teaching Assistant - Year 2
Location: BB1 (Blackburn)
Hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm (includes 30-minute lunch break)
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a Year 2 class in a welcoming primary school in Blackburn. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with pupils at a key stage in their learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
2. Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning
3. Assist with classroom management and daily routines
4. Help create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
5. Support pupils' academic and social development
Requirements:
6. Previous experience working in a primary school setting (preferred)
7. A positive, proactive, and flexible approach
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills
9. Passion for supporting children's learning and development
10. Understanding of KS1 curriculum (desirable)
