Position: Nursery Room Leader
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, All year round
Salary: £34,840 per annum
Welcome Bonus: £1,000

Your Role as Room Leader
As a Room Leader, you will:
* Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to children's age and development
* Support the holistic development of children—physically, intellectually, socially, and emotionally
* Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and child learning journals with high-quality content
* Lead by example, promoting respect and credibility in your role
* Implement an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments
* Maintain accurate records on the EyMan system and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
* Prioritize the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor
* Ensure adherence to the statutory framework for the EYFS
*Please note that duties and responsibilities may evolve as needed.
What You Need to Succeed
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
* Over 1 year’s experience in Early Years - Essential
* Over 6 months’ experience in a senior position - Desirable
* Knowledge of Ofsted expectations for achieving a Good or Outstanding rating - Desirable
* Understanding of the EYFS statutory framework and regulatory requirements - Essential
* Fluency in written and spoken English - Essential
